Applications Accepted for the 2010 Cox Pensacola Christmas Parade

If you're looking for some Christmas spirit, you need to mark on your calendar Saturday, December 11, 2010, the date of the 2010 Cox Pensacola Christmas Parade. Applications are now being accepted for groups, floats and marching bands to participate in the festivities. Entry fees must be received no later than November 26, with verification of entry position by December 4, 2010.


The annual parade, which draws over 50,000 people to downtown Pensacola, begins at 5:15 pm. The Christmas Parade includes local bands from every high school in Escambia County, the nationally renowned Blue Angels flight team, groups from around the region, and as far away as Houston and New Orleans.

Preceding the parade is the popular 1.2 miles Christmas Parade Dash, sponsored by the Pensacola Runners Association.
